About the Art and Architecture Web Site

The Courtauld Institute of Art Gallery

The Courtauld Gallery is one of the finest small museums in the world. Its collections range from the early Renaissance into the 20th century and include world-famous Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings, together with prints, sculpture, decorative arts and an internationally important collection of 7000 drawings. The Gallery is located in the elegant 18th century setting of Somerset House in London.

This website provides access to a proportion of The Courtauld Gallery's collections. The collections of paintings and drawings are fully available online. We are currently adding records for the collections of sculpture, decorative arts and prints.
